Teen X- Treme
This camp will offer a safe and exciting place for students in grades 6-8 to enjoy some summer fun while also exploring a wide variety of activities throughout the state of Maine!

DATES: July 1st - August 21st
Camp will operate Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday of each week

Each week the kids will spend two days doing local activities in Bangor and/or surrounding areas!
One day a week (usually Tuesday) campers will spend on a larger trip!

Local Trips include: Swimming at Pancoe Pool, trips to local state parks and beaches, mini golf, disc golf, hiking, yard games and MUCH more!

Larger Trips Include:
Week 1: VOLTA Indoor Rock Climbing (Trenton)
Week 2: Maine Botanical Gardens (Boothbay)
Week 3: Maine Wildlife Park (Gray)
Week 4: Monkey C Monkey Do Ropes Course (Wiscasset)
Week 5:  Aquaboggin (Saco)
Week 6: TBD
Week 7:  Acadia National Park/Pirates Cove Mini Golf (Trenton/MDI)
 Week 8: Funtown Splashtown (Saco)
(Trips are still being finalized, but will include the above options)




Camp will be based out of the Bangor Parks and Recreation
Campers will be asked to help in planning some of the activities and trips.

COST Per week:  Resident - $165.00   /  Non Resident - $180.00
AUTO PAY ONLY: Your credit card will be billed every Sunday starting the first week your child attends camp until your balance is paid off.
*Cost of camps covers all trips. Campers must bring their own money for food and souvenirs. 

Cancellations Policy
Automatic $20 Cancellation Fee for each week cancelled
* Bangor Parks and Recreation requires a two week notice for all Summer Camp cancellations due to limited spots
* A cancellation form must be filled out on our website in order for weeks to be cancelled

If the cancellation is received without a two-week notice, you will be required to pay for those weeks

  • Swimming every week (possibly every day)
  • Bring a change of clothes every day
  • Bring a water bottle every day
  • Bring sunscreen everyday
  • Camp meets Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday each week

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be made 2 weeks prior to the start date of the week being cancelled. And MUST be done online with the cancellation link. Verbal cancellations will not be accepted.


Refunds will only be given to families that adhere to our cancellation policy and have an account without any past due balances. All refunds will be minus the non-refundable deposit.
